INTRODUCTION & USE OF MOUSE:

 

A mouse is a handheld device that lets you select and move items on your screen.

When you move the mouse on your desk, the mouse pointer on your screen moves in the same direction.

 

START A PROGRAM:

 

You can start an office program to perform a task such as creating a letter, analyzing financial data or designing a presentation.

Click Start.

Click Programs.

Click the program you want to start.

The program appears on your screen. The office Assistant welcome appears the first time you start a program.

Click this option to start using the program

A button for the program appears on the taskbar.                                  

 

EXIT A PROGRAM:                                                      

 

When you finish using a program, you can exit the program.

You should always exit all programs before turning off your computer.

Click file

Click Exit to shut down the program.

The program disappears from your screen. The button for the program disappears from the taskbar.
